It's been an amazing year.
For all the couples who asked me to document their wedding day, I thank you. I've been a photographer all of my adult life, and it's the couples who love how I photograph a wedding that allow me to continue doing a job I love.
2015 was a pivotal year for me as a photographer. My work for The Times newspaper came to an end after 17 years. Budget restraints have whittled the picture desk and photographers away, from the dozen or so photographers that produced such unique news coverage when I started there in 1998, to just two now. My thoughts are with those still left in that troubled industry, still producing the images that will define our era for future generations.
Which is hopefully what I continue to do now, for all the couples and families who book me to photograph their wedding.
Take a look at some of my favourite moments from 2015 in the video above, or scroll down to browse a few at your leisure. You can see how my photography is based around capturing those little moments and glances during a wedding day. Contact me if you'd like to know more.
Here's to 2016, and everything it will bring!
