Wasing Park, a beautiful private specialist wedding venue surrounded by 18th Century Berkshire parkland. A perfect setting for a wedding celebration at any time of the year. It's a gorgeous venue, and I've been lucky to be the Wasing Park wedding photographer at a number of weddings there. Every couple is different, and although the setting stays constant, you'll see how unique each couple can make this amazing venue look.
Have a look at Laura and Rory's highlights slideshow above. It was an amazing day back in August, with Laura and the bridesmaids getting ready in the Honeymoon Suite before a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the garden using the Victorian Summerhouse. Later on there was an Iranian ceremony in the Garden Room before the party continued after the wedding breakfast.
Here's what Rory's father, accomplished film director Mike Slee had to say after seeing the slideshow:
"WOW!! Just peeked the preview shots of Laura and Rory's wedding, absolutely superb. Every photograph is beautiful, stylish and has that bit of fun, magic and charm. You truly captured the love between Laura and Rory, the mood of the day and even the mixed bag of characters that are family and friends. All done with such low key panache. The pictures will be treasured!"
It's that kind of feedback that makes me love the job I do!
Then there's Emilie and Andy's photo film from Wasing Park earlier in the Summer. Its a short video using some of the still images from the day along with professionally recorded audio from the ceremony and the speeches. It's an amazing way to view your wedding day photography, with the added advantage of having the full length audio from the speeches recorded for you as well, all without the additional cost of a videographer! Or check out Jamie-Lee and Anthony's highlights slideshow too, or some stills from their wedding at Wasing Park.
Alongside the well established wedding venue at Wasing Park, there is also the hidden gem that is the Woodland Wedding Venue, nestled amongst the ancient trees in the grounds of Wasing Park. It's an amazing place for a festival style wedding, complete with sound stage, fire pit and Tipi's. Have a look at Vicky and Matt's woodland wedding photography where they also used the nearby Secret Walled Garden for the ceremony, before all the guests headed back to the woods for the partying and meal.
You'll see from all of these weddings that there is a strong and consistent photojournalistic style to my photography at Wasing Park.
